Scuba divers will not soon forget their dive at the world famous sand falls, located just past the even more famous natural rock arch at Land's End. Lover's Beach is located at the very tip of Cabo San Lucas. It has some of the best tropical fish viewing to be had in this part of the world. And about 100 yards away is the Pacific Ocean (a little too treacherous to swim in or body surf) with its magnificent crashing waves. People have been known to pack a lunch and spend the day watching the migrating whales and dolphins during certain times of the year. In addition, there is Medano Beach, which travels the edge of Baja for 14 miles. All along the way, hotels, bars and restaurants dot the beach, ending at Marina de Cabo. The bay that is created by the beach, the marina and the peninsula of Land's End is one of the stopovers for many cruise ships that dock in the Bay each week, making the population of the small town swell. Cabo Real
Golf is king in Cabo Real. There are six of the finest golf courses in the world, each a feast for the eye and a challenge for the golfing spirit. And still more are on the way with two others under construction. Jack Nicholaus called Cabo del Sol golf course (ocean course) "...the finest three finishing holes of golf in the world." Since the weather is always lovely, a tee time of 7:30 a.m. is not only warm, it is strikingly beautiful as you watch the sun rise over the shimmering blue sea. San Jose del Cabo
The shopping and dining choices are plentiful, offering visitors a variety of options: jewelry, crafts, regional art, and clothing are just some of the items to be found. The town's restaurants serve an exciting mix of local and international cuisine that range from nouvelle Mediterranean, to California fusion, to classic French, to traditional Mexican. Near the downtown village square lies the ecologically protected nature preserve estuary where guests can observe exotic plants and birds in their natural habitat. White sand beaches and azure water are only minutes away. San Jose is known as the fisherman's paradise with large and small vessels leaving every morning for big game fishing in the Sea of Cortez. Los Cabo is one of the most unusual and most interesting areas in all of Mexico. Although the area itself has been here for centuries, it has evolved into an International melting pot, as different cultures continue to blend together. A vacation in Los Cabo is a fun-filled experience with ideal climate, great food, with nightlife and tradition coming together. Come to Cabo and experience a vacation you will remember for the rest of your life. |
