Embodying the distinctly French ambiance of the vineyards, architecture and climate of Napa Valley's acclaimed Carneros region, La Residence is set amid oaks and pines and surrounded by world-famous vineyards. Two new ponds with water jets surrounded by French Plain trees, lawns and gardens complete the French country style.
The 25 rooms and suites of the newly remodeled Mansion and recently built French Barn are lovingly decorated in French Country style with European antiques and designer prints in individual color themes. French doors, European bed linens, baths for two, private verandas or patios, and fireplaces are among the pleasures of La Residence. The residence buildings, outdoor pool and Jacuzzi spa are surrounded by two acres of gardens and heritage oaks. There are 3 additional suites in the new "Cellar House".
La Residence staff are there to assist in planning activities such as wine tours, bicycle tours past wildflowers and wineries, and site-seeing excursions, all beginning at the inn's doorstep.
There is a complimentary evening wine and cheese sampling on the veranda-or by the fire in cool weather-and for breakfast at antique pine tables for two. For dinner, the acclaimed Bistro Don Giovanni is a short stroll away, and other fine restaurants, antiques and art galleries are nearby. |
