Gracious and inviting, The Burnsley All Suite Hotel offers the charming intimacy of a European-style inn - uniquely set in the heart of Downtown Denver, Colorado. Rich in history and luxury, each suite of this distinct hotel offers an environment of comfortable elegance.
The 16-story Burnsley Hotel was originally built in 1963 and converted into an all-suite hotel and famous jazz club shortly thereafter. Joy and Franklin Burns bought the hotel in 1969 from an investment group that included singer Ella Fitzgerald and actor Kirk Douglas. In 1983 the hotel was remodeled into a small boutique-style hotel that characterizes the property it is today. The drawing-room style, two-story lobby features shimmering brass, polished Italian marble, oriental antiques and original art, with richly textured furnishings. Each of the 80 beautifully appointed suites are equipped with a living/dining area, full-service kitchen and furnished balconies overlooking Downtown Denver’s city lights or the majestic peaks of the Rocky Mountains.
Accommodating business meetings and social affairs are the Burnsley's specialties. The Director's Room is adjacent to a beautiful bar and an outdoor private patio, and the richly decorated Boardroom with leather chairs make either of these rooms the perfect meeting place or elegant host to any intimate social event.
The Burnsley offers free parking and a complimentary local shuttle service throughout Downtown Denver and the prestigious Cherry Creek shopping area. Each suite is wired with free High Speed Internet Access. There is a complimentary computer and printer for guest use on the Mezzanine level. Live jazz entertainment is popular in the newly renovated lounge on Friday and Saturday evenings and the newly renovated dining room is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The Burnsley is conveniently located within a mile of the new Colorado Convention Center and all Denver cultural and sporting venues. With its large suites and comfortable furnishings, it is the perfect choice for a weekend getaway, an important business trip, long-term corporate housing, or other extended stays.
