Beautiful foliage surrounds the white pillar farmhouse that is the perfect choice for the discriminating traveler. The stunning garden features a water sculpture outlined by trellises as the centerpiece. Roses of all kinds, climbing vines, a variety of flowers, and a view of Bynum Bridge transform the garden into a masterpiece. The Fearrington's guestrooms and suites are individually decorated with English pine antiques and original artwork. Distinctive touches include canopied beds, designer fabrics, and marble vanities. The Fearrington House Restaurant is a collection of small dining rooms, including two glassed-in porches that combine candlelight, artwork, and antiques to create a warm, intimate atmosphere. The evening meal is a fixed-price menu with a tempting array of selections in several courses. A wonderful meal may include Carolina crab cakes with lemon mayonnaise, beef tenderloin served on a Parmesan disk, and chocolate soufflé. Excellent wines are served with the meal, featuring small Carolina vineyards as well as a selection from around the world.
