Located directly off the Windows on the Bay restaurant, the Channelview Deck is a great spot to relax while enjoying all the services provided by the Windows on the Bay and always a great view! The Jacques Cartier Room located on the fourth floor of the hotel provides a spectacular panoramic view of 1000 Islands and Boldt Castle. Long known for its 4-diamond American cuisine and Wine Spectator Magazine wine list, this room is experiencing a transformation this season. With the increased demand for wedding receptions, banquets and social functions, this elegant setting is now available for all types of catered events. The facility provides 2400 square feet of space and can accommodate banquet seating for 85 people.
The RiverWatch Lounge offers the best in beverage service in a relaxed environment with live entertainment. The Tiki Bar is located adjacent to the outdoor pool across from the Boaters’ Bathhouse with a great view of The Bay, The Castle and The St. Lawrence. The Tiki Bar, new in 2003 is a full service facility featuring frozen beverages including daiquiris and margaritas. These specialties can of course be made without alcohol for everyone to enjoy. What a great way to enjoy being in the great outdoors.
Guests may relax on their guest room balcony and enjoy the sights and sounds of the beautiful St. Lawrence River and the bustling Alexandria Bay harbor. In the spring, summer and fall the river is alive with pleasure boats and ocean-going freighters from all over the world. Within walking distance is the village of Alexandria Bay with its shops, boutiques, nightclubs and restaurants, and where sightseeing vessels depart regularly for guided cruises through the islands. A stop at Boldt Castle, a 122-room replica of a Rhineland castle, is a must.
