Located within the Catskill Forest Park, the De Bruce Country Inn on the Willowemoc is a secluded and elegant setting for enjoying wooded trails, wildlife and game, trout-fishing streams, and lake and mountain views within the Inn's own private preserve. Guests receive unpretentious, heartfelt hospitality, the offerings of a gifted and award-winning chef, and the charm of a lovingly and authentically restored turn-of-the-century country hostelry.
On the ground floor of this Federal-style building is the formal dining room with long-leaf yellow pine floors and coffered ceiling, and the comfortable parlor/library with its fieldstone fireplace. The guest rooms, all with private baths, have brass beds with Posturpedic mattresses, homemade bedspreads, Indian or Oriental rugs, Victorian hurricane lamps, and ceiling fans. Original art work and decorative craft items provide a unique accent throughout the Inn, and the art gallery has exhibits of contemporary arts and crafts in small formats.
After a day of fly-fishing, taking in fall foliage or just lounging on the porch or by the pool, you can enjoy Apple Toddies at the Dry Fly Lounge, followed by fresh Willowemoc trout at Ianine's Restaurant. The summer dining terrace allows full enjoyment of the fresh air and views of the valley and mountains beyond.
