In perfect harmony with its natural surroundings, the inn, perched high atop a bluff overlooking the marina, features guestrooms elegantly appointed with natural wood furnishings, fireplaces complete with sitting areas, large windows and oversized whirl bath jetted tubs that open to picturesque views of Friday Harbor.
The chef and culinary staff takes special care to use only the best local products - from farm-fresh produce and herbs from the inn's garden, to in-season seafood from nearby waters. Guests are invited to enjoy a signature complimentary continental breakfast of homemade scones, breads and granola, assorted cereals and fresh fruit and orange juice. Save plenty of room for dinner, which can start with Westcott Bay Petite Oysters crusted with cornmeal and pan-fried served with a lemon-caper tartar sauce. For an entree we suggest, Filet of Alaskan Halibut with calamata-anchovy tapenade, roasted sweet peppers and shaved fennel salad. A perfect completion to the meal is the Chocolate Truffle Cake.
Friday Harbor House provides the perfect setting for groups that require privacy and attentive, professsional service. The inn is ideally suited for retreats, conferences or social gatherings of five to 50 people.
