Trimmed in shingles turned oyster gray by the tang of salty sea air, the Black Point Inn has been extensively renovated throughout its history to ensure comfort while preserving its historic character. The Inn is now owned by its neighbors, 40 Prouts Neck families, and managed by True North Hospitality, well-known for its focus on quality guest experience. In early 2007, the Inn was "right sized" back to its 1878 original size, now consisting of 25 spacious guest rooms and suites with magnificent water views. There are two dining rooms: "The Point Oceanfront Dining" - a fine dining restaurant with ocean views, and the intimate Chart Room and Lounge, with expansive bayviews. The Inn caters to family reunions, special events, and executive functions, hosting larger events only in the off season (before June 15th or after September 15th). |
