At the Albion Hotel, nothing is exactly as it seems. A 600 square-foot vertical pond greets guests in the lobby, and iridescent slipcovers on asymmetrical seating create a free-floating sensation. Located in the historic Art Deco District of Miami Beach, the Albion is one block from the ocean at the corner of Lincoln Road, home of the Balanchine-influenced Miami City Ballet, the new World Symphony, the Sony Music Building, and South Florida's most popular restaurants, clubs, boutiques and art galleries.
The Albion has 100 guestrooms and suites. The penthouse suites have solaria which permit nude sunbathing and private dinners alfresco. A soft blue glow greets guests as they enter their rooms at the end of the evening from a dream light that emerges from behind each headboard. From the king-sized beds to the cucumber bath essentials and signature Rubell Hotel bathrobes, the Albion provides the most modern and luxurious conveniences for guests.
Lushly landscaped courtyard gardens transport guests to a Zen-like solitude. The 60 foot pool, heated to a constant temperature of 83 degrees, is nestled between the mezzanine sundeck - complete with Miami Beach sand - and the outdoor dining are of The Pantry. The Fitness Center is equipped with the modern, high tech equipment that guarantee a great workout.
Dining is available in The Pantry which has indoor/outdoor seating. Its two menus, a.m. & p.m., are dedicated to healthy, delicious food made with the finest local and regional ingredients and produce. The Pantry also provides 24 hour room service. The Mayya, a 6,000 square foot restaurant, is overseen by Efraim Veiga of (Yuca) and celebrity chef Guillermo Tellez.
