A cluster of softly hued, contemporary New England style cottages and the century old restaurant building incorporate dramatic white water views and colorful garden entrances into the eye pleasing, 1o acre site. Guestrooms are elegant yet simple, and feature fireplaces, easy chairs, plush king or queen beds, writing desks, and private decks. Baths are well appointed, and many have luxurious spa tubs or romantic soaking tubs for two. Newspapers are delivered to your door, and a split of wine is yours each day of your stay.
The view is central to your ARI experience, so your day starts in our ocean view dining room with a full complimentary breakfast and enchanting white water views of passing whales, fishing boats, seals, and birds on the wing. Breakfast includes choice of chef special, eggs any style with bacon or sausage, fresh baked muffins, country potatoes, oatmeal, juices, and gourmet coffee & teas.
Chef Stephen Smith's innovative coastal cuisine makes Albion River Inn a favorite destination for dinner on the Mendocino Coast. The chef's cosmopolitan style blends old and new traditions in a flavorful cuisine paired with an amazing wine list. Winner of the Wine Spectator's Award of Excellence for 16 consecutive years, the 550 label wine list has over 300 spirits, with a treasury of 130 of the finest single malts, fine micro brews, and something for every taste.
Every Wednesday through June, enjoy our Singer/songwriter Cabaret at 9 pm in the restaurant. No cover, no minimum.
We offer a fabulous cooking class each moonth, Nov through May, a Winemaker Dinners in Jan and a 4-day photography workshop each Oct. Mendocino Music and Film festivals, Crab & Wine and Mushroom & Wine festivals, Winesong, 4th of July Parade, Salmon Barbecue and many other events join art galleries, craft fairs, open studios, hiking & outdoor activities, wineries and unique shopping to entertain you year round.
Weddings and receptions utilize the Inn's dramatic ocean front lawn terrace, garden, and restaurant setting. The private daytime use of our facilities,and the superb cuisine and beverage selections are accompanied by the personal services of our wedding planner and staff. Private weekend use of the whole Inn can be arranged for your celebration with lodging, breakfast, luncheon, dinner,& reception arrangements available.
Small meetings have exclusive daytime use of the ocean view dinning room and lawn terrace and enjoy a relaxed and inspirational setting. |
