Established and operated by the Albert Gurries family, the Tickle Pink Inn at Carmel Highlands has graced this setting high atop rugged cliffs, overlooking the untamed Pacific Ocean and the lush Carmel Highlands, since 1956. The Inn has a history and reputation that are founded on gracious hospitality, personal service, indulgent comfort, and an attention to detail that is evident from the moment you arrive.
The Inn is intimate and private and offers the discriminating guest a variety of personal touches and extra amenities, such as plush robes, slippers, fresh ground coffee service in your room, and continental breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and fresh pastries baked on the premises. The guest rooms are tastefully decorated with traditional furnishings and European details orchestrated in a natural, eclectic style. There are rough-hewn night tables, handcrafted armoires, stone fireplaces and the view from each room's private balcony is breathtaking!
With seating for up to ten people, the Terrace Board Room provides all of the materials and services, including catering, computer and printer, slide and overhead projectors, flat screen TV, DVD player, presentation boards, fax and copier, essential to a successful and enjoyable private business meeting.
A complimentary guest reception is held each evening in the Terrace Lounge, featuring Monterey County wines and an assortment of cheeses, breads, and fruits. Guests have the opportunity to chat with the friendly staff, play a game of chess, or just unwind in front of the fireplace and enjoy the music.
The outdoor Cliffside Deck offers the perfect setting to toast a beautiful lazy sunset as the day draws to an end.
