The luxurious Vendue Inn is located in the heart of the Historic District at the beautiful Waterfront Park on Charleston Harbor. This in-town gem, famous for comfort, excellent staff, service and convenience, was lovingly restored from French Quarter warehouses (c.1860).
From indulgent suites with fireplaces and whirlpool tubs to charming historic quarters in the inn's original style, the accommodations at the Vendue Inn reflect the history of Charleston. All sixty-six rooms and suites, many with poster, canopy or sleigh beds, are individually decorated with 18th century style English or French period furnishings, and antiques. Fireplaces and marble bathrooms with jacuzzis and separate showers are available in Junior and Deluxe Suites. Soft bathrobes, Egyptian cotton linens, and other fine amenities add to the comfort. In the evening, enjoy a special turn down service.
The Library, an intimate restaurant, exemplifies the Inn's standards of excellence, offering progressive American cuisine prepared with a uniquely Charleston flare. Mornings begin with a delicious complimentary Southern breakfast. Wine and hors d'oeuvres are served each afternoon in the Music Room.
