This Monterey Peninsula luxury hotel is a graceful adobe structure in the heart of the historic district, adjacent to California's First Theater and directly across from the Monterey Conference Center. The Hotel Pacific is Monterey's only all-suite hotel. Each Jr. suite is a 560-square foot executive suite, complete with gas log fireplace, custom furniture in rich earth tones, goose-down feather beds, remote-control large screen TVs and DVD, CD players, fresh-ground coffee and brewer, and spiced cider. Custom cabinetry houses a refrigerator and honor bar. A tiled desk area separates the living area from the sleeping room. The spacious bathrooms feature separate showers and tubs, scales, TV, telephone and Aveda toiletries as well as handmilled soaps. Each room has a private patio or terrace, some with a view of the hotel's lavish garden courtyards with spas and hand-carved fountains.
Special services for guests include complimentary continental breakfast, afternoon tea, and nightly maid service and turndown with chocolates. The hotel's meeting rooms will accommodate an intimate board meeting or a conference for 40 participants.
