Built in 1892 and restored in 1994, The Rochester is a beautiful two-story brick Victorian. The many antiques displayed throughout the hotel and its historical surroundings complement the Western motif. During their stay at The Rochester, guests will delight in picturesque views of the mountains, courtyard, and downtown. Each of the luxury guestrooms is uniquely decorated in style true to the Old West and inspired by the many movies filmed in the Four Corners area. Each of the rooms has high ceilings and a private bath. The bathrooms offer either a shower or bath combo and are spacious with stunning granite tile floors. The Rochester prides itself on the King Suite, where guests will enjoy a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a large bath with Jacuzzi, living room, desk, cable TV, and lovely antiques.
Activities abound at The Rochester, where guests are within walking distance of the railroad and many fine restaurants and shops. Nearby parks also offer hiking and biking trails, in addition to exciting river rafting.
