Small and sophisticated, the Pomegranate Inn is located in the quiet, historic Western Promenade District. Within walking distance of the mid-town arts district and Old Port, this 1884 Italianate mansion boasts a fine and extensive collection of contemporary art and antique furnishings.
Classic room accommodations are complemented by hand-painted walls, custom and antique furnishings, and fine antique linens. Each room has its own private bathroom. Many of the rooms feature large porcelain tubs -most with showers- and pedestal sinks finish the exceptional interior design.
Guests are welcomed to the Pomegranate with tea and wine upon arrival (4pm-6pm).
A full breakfast is served to guests in the sunny, art and antique filled Dining Room. In winter, guests can enjoy breakfast by the fire and in summer French doors are opened onto the garden. Coffee, fresh fruit and juice, and morning entrees such as poached eggs with salmon and capers or flan-like French Toast with chicken and apple sausages are among the offerings.
