Guests may choose from more than a dozen daily fitness classes, which may include Hill Country walks and hikes, boxing aerobics classes, stretching, circuit training, water aerobics and yoga. A granite gravel trail runs along the water's edge for walking or jogging. Facilities also include tennis courts, outdoor pool, indoor pool, full service spa, sauna and steam rooms, water bikes, kayaks and canoes.
Many guests spend minimal time in their cottages, while others love to curl up on a lounge chair with a good book for a quiet afternoon of solitude. The grounds of the resort also feature many outdoor hideaways in which to relax, meditate, read or take a nap. The lakeside hammocks are particularly popular.
Good nutrition begins in the gardens. Organic herbs and vegetables are harvested daily by the kitchen staff to add distinctive flavors and unmatched freshness to healthy gourmet meals. Guests dine at their leisure, ordering from a diverse and appealing selection of tasteful gourmet spa cuisine. Meals are low in fat, high in complex carbohydrates and generously proportioned.
