Midway between San Francisco and Los Angeles on California's Scenic Highway 1, Dolphin Bay Resort & Spa is centrally located in Shell Beach and is ideal for romantic getaways or family vacations where guests stay as long as they would like. With 63 spacious 1 and 2 bedroom suites featuring full gourmet kitchens, Lido Restaurant, La Bonne Vie Spa and an array of activities, guests have all the comforts of home amidst the elegance of a resort.
Upon opening the solid-wood front door, guests are welcomed into a plush suite. A modern living room, dining room, and kitchen are handsomely furnished evoking a home-away-from home ambiance. Luxurious amenities such as signature appliances, custom-made wood cabinetry and granite counter tops are showcased. Each bedroom features high-thread-count designer linens and walk-in closets. The spacious living areas feature travertine flooring and woven wool carpeting, custom furniture, plasma flat-panel televisions and DVD players.
Select accommodations also feature fireplaces and Aire Jet tubs. All suites offer private terraces or patios, laundry facilities, complimentary high-speed wired and wireless internet access, personal incoming telephone and / or facsimiles lines and are serviced twice daily.
The 24-hour fitness center offers a full circuit of state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength-training machines in a spacious setting. Outdoors, guests can relax poolside at Dolphin Bay's infinity-edged saline pool and spa. Resort amenities also include an adult lounge area and weekend yoga. We invite all children, ages 5 to 12 years of age, to spend Saturday afternoons with us for a fun-filled day at Dolphin Bay's Kid's Club! Included in the day of exploration is a trip to the Shell Beach tide pools, creative arts and crafts, exciting games, as well as a treasure hunt and lunch. |
