There's something in the ocean breeze that gently wakes guests on a summer morning, or in the storm that lulls them to sleep on a winter's night. The York Harbor Inn is someplace special. Just over an hour north of Boston, The York Harbor Inn has offered a retreat from the rigors of metropolitan life for more than a century.

Each of the Inn's 47 guestrooms reflects a piece of heritage. Every room is graciously accented with fine antiques or period reproductions and equipped to ensure a memorable and relaxing stay. Modern amenities include high-speed Internet access, A/C, cable TV, hair dryers and private phones. Additional amenities range from standard to superior depending upon the room type selected and offer Jacuzzi spas, fireplaces, ocean views, decks, balconies, king size beds and/or heated tiled bathroom floors.

A complimentary continental "plus" breakfast is served to overnight guests. The luncheon menu includes a variety of fresh salads, homemade soups and chowders, sandwiches, seafood, and other Chef specialties. The dinner menu, featured in Food & Wine Magazine, emphasizes local fresh seafood including Maine lobster, scallops, shrimp and haddock. However, Filet Mignon, Chicken Cordon Bleu and Veal Swiss are also award-winning dishes. The English Wine Cellar Pub is in the lower level of the Inn and serves a casual "Pub Fare" menu and offers live entertainment and complimentary hors d'oeuvres Monday through Friday from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

York is one of the most historically well-preserved and documented towns in New England. Spend the day visiting historical sights or attending the numerous cultural events. There are a variety of outdoor sports in and around York including golf, tennis, kayaking, surfing, boating, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Winter sports including snowmobiling trails, skiing, tubing and snowboarding are within an hour.

Come capture the beauty of the Southern Maine coast at the historic York Harbor Inn. Enjoy a warm, romantic and inviting atmosphere while savoring fine cuisine and stunning ocean views.
