This exquisite waterfront boutique Inn rises regally on the shores of beautiful Lake Kalamalka, known as "The Lake of Ten Thousand Colors" and rated as one of the top ten most beautiful lakes in the world by the National Geographic Society. We are located half way between Vancouver, British Columbia and the Rocky Mountain World Heritage Sites of Banff, Jasper, Kootenay and Waterton Lakes National Parks of Canada. Situated in the Top of the Okanagan Valley we are only a half hour drive north of Kelowna, BC and the Kelowna International Airport and 5 minute drive south of Vernon, BC and are easily accessible by car, by boat or float plane.
The Lakeside Illahee Inn offers, within the wonders and colors of the four seasons, quality accommodations for vacation and business travelers , waterfront sunset and Grand Room fine dining, wedding and reception services, corporate retreats, group meetings & family reunions amid relaxation and serenity; all in its nature park surroundings.
The Inn is charactrized by a modern spacious open plan design, accessorized by an awe-inspiring unobstructed 180° view of beautiful Lake Kalamalka and complimented by a stunning British Columbia Provincial Park literally at the back door. We are nestled on 3 acres with over 300 feet of private lakeshore amid this magnificent scenery. Each room or suite is well appointed and distinctive; named for a wild flower or tree that grows at Illahee, or a water feature nearby. All have lakeshore large balconies or lakeshore patios with unobstruced lake views. All rooms and suites have private bathrooms, private entrances so guests may come and go at their convenience. All have a coffee bar and refrigerator, robes & slippers, iron & ironing board, Color 42" plasma TV, AM/FM, and fireplace; some have air-jetted tubs, floor to ceiling rock gas-log fireplaces, surround music, outdoor balcony love swing and patio set. Choose the one that intrigues you most!
At the end of a beautiful day in the Spring, Summer or Fall Seasons join us for waterfront sunset dining or in the Grand Room & Loft for "Powder Snow" time. Dining is offered from May 1st to October 31st in the "Upper Room" (a lakeshore heated outdoor balcony) and available on Monday through Saturday evenings of each week of each year.
