In keeping with the 1930s architecture, Parisian stone walls, marble and the highly ornamental black rail are now highlighted by the deep red of the room doors and the linen drapes at the windows. The ultimate detail comes with the unusual floor lighting accentuating the plate glass thresholds that are engraved with the room numbers.
Each of the 38 rooms and suites has been individually designed to seduce your well-being. As an example, inspired by the style of the 19th Century grand houses, the Theodore de Banville bedroom is a bright and cozy haven of peace and quiet. In the room, the huge bed is topped with embroidered organdy and the walls are covered with typical French Toile. There is plenty of storage space available in the beautifully designed units made out of ancient shutters. The bathroom is right out of a country cottage with sunken bath, ancient tiled floor and antique mirrors.
An unforgettable breakfast with Paris at your feet, the adorable terrace bathed in sunshine gives "la chambre d'Amelie" an indescribable charm.
Les Préludes has been completely redecorated. The lady of the house, Marianne MOREAU, has skillfully put the spotlight on luxurious materials, purple velvet, enamels from Briare inlaid in marble, a dreamlike bathroom painted in shades of off-white, and a bed canopy in silk and linen to create a delightfully theatrical atmosphere.
