The Luna Hotel Baglioni is Venice’s oldest Hotel and is located right behind St. Mark’s Square. A private mooring-berth enables gondolas and motorboats to reach the entrance of the Hotel.
In the days of the Templars, the Hotel was known as the Locanda della Luna (“The Moonlight Tavern”) and would offer travellers a comfortable shelter. Now, more than eight centuries after, it is still committed to the same cause: the Luna Hotel Baglioni carries on a tradition made of class, comfort and refined elegance.
The Luna Hotel Baglioni has 104 Rooms, including 14 Suites and 21 Junior Suites. Most of the Rooms has been refurbished in the past recent years, and this is a guarantee for the Guest, who has at his complete disposal the best and modern comfort. Guests can choose among different categories of Junior Suites and Suites, all superbly decorated: Junior Suite, Junior Suite Deluxe, Junior Suite Lagune View, characterized by an incomparable view on the Lagoon; Suite, Suite Deluxe, Suite Lagune View, Grand Lagune Suite, characterized by a wide private marble terrace facing directly St. Mark’s Basin, the perfect place to savour romantic dinners or private cocktails, the Presidential Suite, characterized by a private typical Venetian wooden terrace called “altana”, located on the roof of the Hotel, from where Guests can admire a wonderful and unforgettable view of Venice, St. Mark’s Basin and St. George’s Island. |
