Hotel Guanahani consists of 75 bungalows set on 16 acres of attractively landscaped gardens. Decorated in bright colors, in harmony with the setting, all rooms face the sea and have their own terrace and garden. They are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fans, in-room safes, direct-dial telephone, stocked mini-bar, satellite television with VCRs, bathroom with marble shower complete with hairdryer, bathrobes and Hermes amenities.
The Suites are located on the bluffs above the beaches, offering the most privacy and best views of the ocean. Each has a living room, a terrace and garden, the best with a large private swimming pool.
There are two restaurants - Indigo and Bartolomeo. Indigo overlooks the swimming pool, beach and lagoon and serves breakfast and lunch. Bartolomeo, the more formal of the pair, is in a lovely setting which overlooks exotic gardens. It serves dinner, which may include salmon tartare, lobster mousse and creme brulee.
American breakfast, non-motorized watersports, access to two night-lighted tennis courts and fitness room, and private beaches. Tax and service charges in addition to roundtrip airport transfers are all included in the room rate.
