The seven-villa hideaway (which accommodates a maximum of 42 guests) is managed like an elegant, private estate where guests feel completely at home. The villas have high-pitched tile roofs, shaded terraces and white ceramic floors. Walkways decorated with stone Mosaic wind though lush tropical gardens. Each room is decorated in the jewel-like colors chosen by owner/developer Isabel Goldsmith-Patiño. A pleasing mix of designs, fabrics, and crafts were selected from all over Mexico. Rattan sofas upholstered in canary yellow or shocking pink hold bright-colored embroidered cushions on which to take a siesta. Mexican folk art hand-painted artifacts enliven each room. Accommodations include large, hand-painted, Mexican tile baths featuring oversized tub and shower, bidet, double sinks and large open shelving, as well as private terraces and full-sized living/dining areas.
Dine to the strains of Mexican music in a palm grove right next to the ocean! Las Alamandas’ full-service Oasis Restaurant serves fresh and healthy cuisine along with a variety of liquors and fine wines. In the evening, the terrace is candlelit and the surrounding gardens are illuminated. The menu includes many Mexican specialties from which to choose, as well as a selection of continental dishes. All ingredients are fresh; fish and seafood are brought in daily from local fisherman; pastries are prepared daily by the chef; and many of the fruits and vegetables are grown organically on the property. Upon request, the Oasis Restaurant will prepare an elaborate dinner buffet, complete with mariachis and bonfires to enjoy on the beach.
The romantic paradise is located on the Mexican Riviera, south of Puerto Vallarta and north of Manzanillo. Driving time is 1 and 1/2 hours from Manzanillo Airport and 2 hours from Puerto Vallarta. |
